Abstract: Traditional SLA battery charging control methods include timing control, Vmax control, ΔV control, temperature control, etc. These charging control methods fail to effectively comply with the physical and chemical laws inside the battery, resulting in serious overcharging and gassing in the entire charging process, and low charging efficiency. Aiming at the four-stage charging characteristics of SLA batteries, this paper combines fuzzy control and embedded technology to propose an intelligent fuzzy SLA battery charging scheme based on ARM CortexM3 LM3S. This charging scheme is of great significance to give full play to the efficacy of SLA batteries, improve the charging speed of SLA batteries, reduce charging losses, and extend the service life of SLA batteries.
