Through the analysis of the DC regulated power supply for electric locomotives, the technical requirements for the design of switching power supply are explained. The 110 V digital switching power supply for electric locomotives designed with intelligent power module IPM is selected, and the DSP digital signal processing chip TMS320F2812 is used to perform real-time processing on the power control system. The dual closed-loop control strategy of voltage outer loop and current inner loop is adopted. The software of the dual closed-loop control strategy is designed. The single neuron control algorithm is used in the current inner loop. The setting process of PID parameters in the voltage outer loop control process is given to ensure the stability of voltage output and the speed of voltage regulation. Experiments show that the power supply operates stably and reliably. Under rated conditions, the power conversion efficiency reaches 94%, the voltage dynamic regulation time is less than 5 ms, and the output error is less than ± 1%.
