The system that monitors and records the real-time operation status of a car based on the principle of the \"black box\" of an airplane is commonly known as the \"car black box\". The car black box, also known as the car driving recorder, is an electronic instrument that can collect and record the driving status of a car in real time. It plays an important role in ensuring driving safety and liability analysis after a road traffic accident. The research and development of car driving recorders at home and abroad has a history of more than ten years. After the 1990s, with the development of science and technology and the gradual popularization of the automobile market, many research institutes and manufacturers began to research and develop car driving recorders, and a variety of products were once launched on the market. In order to strengthen the standardization of car driving recorders, the state promulgated the \"Car Driving Recorder\" GB/T19056-2003 standard on April 15, 2003, and it was implemented on September 1, 2003. It should be said that the research on the practical and standardized \"car driving recorder\" product has begun. This system is developed in full accordance with the national standards for vehicle driving recorders. It uses the MSP430 ultra-low power microcontroller as the main control device and the FM24C04 ferroelectric memory as the real-time memory. It can collect, process and record information such as the turn signal, brake, overspeed timeout alarm, wheel speed signal, etc. when the vehicle is driving. The recorder uses the RS232 serial port to connect to the PC for communication, and the recorded data is post-processed and analyzed by the data analysis and processing software.
