Abstract: The emergence of wireless networks has made it possible to track and locate moving targets. In multi-sensor networks, ranging positioning is a common means of target positioning. The mobile tracking method based on ranging positioning is used to infer the position of the target based on the information of the mobile sensor source node and the ranging data obtained by sensing the target. The tracking direction of each source node is determined by the positions of the source node and the target node, so that the mobile sensor source node tracks the target along this direction. However, the target being tracked is also a moving point. The characteristics of isolated solution are used to infer the position of the target, and this cycle is repeated until the task is completed. Through simulation experiments in the MATLAB environment, it is shown that this method can enable mobile source nodes to effectively track moving targets.
