RaytekMI3 is a powerful split infrared temperature measurement system with a miniature sensor head and a separate communication electronics box. The sensor is small and can be installed almost anywhere, but its performance is far better than that of large systems. It also has a rugged metal cast electronics box housing, an innovative DIN-mounted multi-channel connection box or a low-cost OEM configuration. MI3 provides a lot of advanced signal processing functions that other expensive sensors do not have. MI3 is designed with various types of sensor head options for a variety of applications. MI3 has a temperature range of -40°C to 600°C (-40°F to 1112°F) low-temperature sensors, fast response (<20 milliseconds) sensors and 5μm spectral response sensors, providing an amazing range of solutions to meet your process needs. The rugged stainless steel sensor head ensures long-term reliability in the harshest industrial environments. Despite the small size of the MI3 sensor, it has all the performance you need-1% accuracy, high optical resolution options up to 22:1, and user-programmable input and output I/O. Standard features include adjustable emissivity, peak hold, valley hold and averaging. All sensor parameters are easily adjusted via the built-in user interface keypad or using the built-in USB interface with DataTemp software. Advanced features further expand the capabilities of the MI3 and include the use of configurable alarm outputs, digital \"menu\" table inputs for easy connection to external control systems, external reset inputs for signal processing and external signals for analog emissivity adjustment and reflected energy compensation. The MI3\'s small size and low measurement point cost make it an ideal choice for multi-point installation in your measurement process. The MI3 is accurate, rugged, affordable and easy to install and operate. The MI3 makes precision infrared temperature measurement an affordable choice today.
