In order to meet the needs of fast frequency conversion in modern high-speed communications, the orthogonal direct digital frequency synthesis (ODDFS) circuit design scheme is completed based on the coordinate rotation digital computer (CORDIC) algorithm. The system model of the circuit is built using MATLAB and Xilinx System Generator development tools, and the register transfer level (RTL) verification of the circuit is completed through the field programmable gate array (FPGA). The simulation results show that the circuit design is highly effective and feasible.
