Based on the emerging blind equalization technology, some blind equalization algorithms have been proposed. This paper takes high-order QAM signals as input signals, and introduces a weighted multi-mode algorithm with momentum term to address the defects of the normal mode algorithm, multi-mode algorithm, and weighted multi-mode algorithm. These algorithms are compared one by one for the first time through computer simulation experiments. The experimental results show that the performance of the weighted multi-mode blind equalization algorithm with momentum term is significantly better than the previous algorithms in channel equalization. It has faster convergence speed and smaller steady-state error, so it has practical value.
