The previous frequency characteristic analysis method is based on the small signal parameters of components and seems to be very accurate within the linear range. But sometimes it is difficult to do. For example, the ESR of electrolytic capacitors is inaccurate and changes with temperature and frequency; the magnetic permeability of inductor cores is not a constant. In addition, due to distributed parameters or process limitations, the circuit has distributed parameters, etc., making it impossible for the analysis results to be completely consistent, and sometimes even far apart. The analysis method is only used as a reference and guide for actual debugging. Therefore, when conditions permit, directly measure the frequency response of the loop outside the operational amplifier, select the Venable error amplifier type based on the theoretical analysis in Section 6.4, use the measured frequency characteristics to compensate the loop, and check the compensation results through experiments. It should be said that this is the most direct and reliable design method. Using this method, you can adjust your power supply closed loop within a week. The prerequisite is that you should have a network analyzer
