Standard for Landscape Architecture Legends and Diagrams CJJ 67-95:1.0.1 Landscape architecture legends and diagrams are an important part of planning and design drawings. In the 1950s, most of my country’s urban green space planning and design drawings were based on the Soviet Union. Since the reform and opening up in 1979, with the development of landscape architecture, many new contents and projects have emerged, and planning and design legends and diagrams have become numerous, with great differences and lack of uniformity. In order to standardize and unify the commonly used legends and diagrams in landscape architecture drawing, to improve the quality and efficiency of drawing landscape architecture planning and design drawings, and to meet the requirements of today’s information age, this standard is specially formulated. 1.0.2 This standard is based on the study of landscape architecture legends and diagrams since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and is systematized. It is applicable to scenic spots and urban green space system planning drawings, garden green space planning and design drawings, and the expression of tree forms, including the elevation diagrams of branches and crowns. 1.0.3 The content of landscape planning and design is very rich and is constantly being updated and enriched. The legends and diagrams formulated in this standard cannot be all-encompassing and can only be common and basic legends and diagrams. Anything not specified can be derived according to the following principles and rules: (1) The image of the legend and diagram should be concise, clear and beautiful. (2) The image of the legend should be consistent with the representative physical features or commonly used symbols at home and abroad.
