A novel fault location algorithm based on static current detection is proposed. According to the response of the input vector sequence and the structural characteristics of the circuit, the algorithm can directly calculate the possible fault points by simulating the DUT circuit under normal circumstance, and can locate multiple faults. Experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively locate bridge faults, leakage current faults, etc. Keywords static current detection; fault location; multiple faults; bridge faultAbstract A novel algorithm for fault location using Iddq has been presented in this paper.
