Loss Analysis and Optimal Design of Solar Photovoltaic Pumping System

        The energy loss of solar arrays and lead-acid batteries was analyzed. The impact loss formula at the impeller inlet was derived using the velocity triangle. The flow loss in the centrifugal impeller under non-operating conditions was discussed. A five-stage variable-step perturbation observation maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method that takes into account accuracy, speed, and cost for small and medium-sized systems was proposed. The article designed a battery pack charging control strategy that can prevent overcharging, undercharging, and mutual charging of battery cells and improve energy utilization. Methods for alleviating secondary flow and backflow were discussed from the perspective of hydraulic design, laying the foundation for further research.
