Digital Signal Processing Experiment Guide Experiment 4: Design Method of Infinite Unit Impulse Response (IIR) Filter (I) Experimental Purpose To deepen the understanding of the common indicators and design process of infinite impulse response (IIR) digital filters. (II) Experimental Content Introduction to Common Functions: 1. The Matlab signal processing toolbox provides functions buttord, buttap and butter for designing Butterworth analog filters. The format is as follows: (1) Used to calculate the order N and 3dB cutoff frequency Wc (the symbol in this book) of the Butterworth analog low-pass filter. Among them, Wp and Ws are the passband cutoff frequency and stop cutoff frequency of the filter, respectively, in rad/s; Rp and Rs are the maximum attenuation coefficient of the passband and the minimum attenuation coefficient of the stopband, respectively, in dB.
