This paper compares and studies two typical high-speed decoding algorithms: Turbo sum-product algorithm and parallel weighted bit flip algorithm from three aspects: decoding rate, hardware implementation complexity and bit error rate. Taking quasi-cyclic LDPC codes as the object, the implementation timing, hardware complexity and bit error rate performance of Turbo sum-product algorithm and parallel weighted bit flip algorithm are given. Among them, the efficient timing structure of parallel weighted bit flip algorithm is given for the first time. Computer simulation results show that both algorithms can achieve good performance with a small number of iterations.
