External battery There are two types of packaging for external batteries: ultrasonic welding and snap-on: 1.1 Ultrasonic welding shell The battery shell of this packaging form is divided into bottom shell and surface shell. The material is generally ABS+PC material, and the surface shell is generally sprayed with oil. Representative models are: MOTOROLA 191, SAMSUNG Series, the shell of the original battery will not be scratched after long-term use after oil spraying, while the shell of some brand batteries or parallel-imported batteries will start to fall off after a few days of use. The reason is: the shell of the mobile phone battery is relatively cheap, and the cost of oil spraying is generally several times that of the shell (the better ones). Such treatment generally has three processes: spraying varnish (priming), spraying oil (forming color), and then spraying varnish (the order should be like this, if I remember correctly), and some manufacturers have omitted the first and third processes in order to reduce costs, so the cost is very low. Having a good ultrasonic welding machine is not enough for welding. Whether it can be welded OK is also closely related to the material of the shell and the parameter settings of the welding machine. It is generally disposable. If the user forcibly folds it open after it is stuck, it cannot be restored. However, this is not a big difficulty for manufacturers (fold it after it is stuck). Its representative models are: Ericsson 788, MOTOROLA V66.2. Built-in battery There are two ways to seal the built-in battery, ultrasonic welding and packaging (using the trademark to wrap the entire battery). The main batteries that are ultrasonically welded are: NOKIA 8210, 8250, 8310, 7210, etc. There are many batteries with packaging labels, such as the very popular MOTO998 and 8088 in the past two years. Section 2 Basic knowledge of lithium-ion batteries Lithium-ion batteries are a new type of battery energy. They do not contain metallic lithium. During the charge and discharge process, only lithium ions move back and forth between the positive and negative electrodes, and the electrodes and electrolytes do not participate in the reaction.
