Embedded technology with embedded microprocessors and embedded operating systems as the core has been widely used in many fields. As the application of the Internet becomes increasingly popular and the degree of information sharing continues to improve, the shortcomings of traditional serial and parallel communication methods are becoming increasingly prominent, and the networking of embedded devices has become an inevitable trend in the development of the network. According to a study by Forrester Research, by 2010, 95% of networked devices will no longer be traditional computers, but embedded systems with network functions. Based on the successful case of realizing network communication functions under the PC104 system, this paper builds an experimental platform based on ARM7 microprocessors and uCLinux operating systems, completes the network interface design, and realizes the network communication function of embedded systems. This paper uses the LPC2210 microcontroller of PHILIPS as the main control chip and the highly integrated Ethernet chip RTL8019AS as the network interface. The Linux operating system is selected for cutting and transplanting, and the embedded TCP/IP protocol stack is analyzed and implemented. The underlying network driver was written to achieve network-based data transmission between the embedded hardware platform and the PCLinux system; at the same time, network-based data transmission between the embedded system and the WindowsXP system was achieved; through comparative experiments, the network data transmission protocol and algorithm were studied and optimized, and the network function of the ARM embedded system was improved. A large number of data transmission and reliability test experiments show that the embedded system network function designed in this paper has achieved the expected goals in terms of reliability, availability and ease of operation, and has practical application value!
