A frequency offset decision mechanism applicable to OFDM time domain frequency offset estimation is proposed. The large-range frequency offset coarse value and the small-range frequency offset coarse value are estimated based on two autocorrelation peaks. The frequency offset value control state device determines the frequency offset value state according to the numerical logical relationship between the large-range frequency offset coarse value and the small-range frequency offset coarse value. The frequency offset value actuator calculates the accurate final frequency offset value according to the frequency offset value state. The frequency offset simulation test of the 802.11n receiver system shows that under the conditions of IEEE TGN multipath channel A~channel F, the mean square error of its frequency offset estimation is <10-2 error (SNR>5), and the estimation range is up to plus or minus 2.5 times the subcarrier frequency interval.
