The purpose of this manual is to give you a more detailed understanding of how the Mach3 milling machine software interacts with your machine tool, how to set the drive method for each axis, and how to correctly enter the program language and format to achieve effective control in machines with up to six axes. Mach3 can usually control milling machines, planers, and plasma cutters. Although Mach3 can already control two axes of lathes, we are also developing another independent Mach3Turn program and auxiliary files to support the full function development of lathes. We also have an online Wiki format document Customizing Mach3, which details how to design your own layout and processing strategies to meet the requirements of special hardware equipment. In this way, you can enjoy all the conveniences of Mach3 on-site service. The gray-font printed parts in this manual are machine tool control system features that Mach3 cannot currently implement.
