Analysis of the distribution of characteristic parameters of several typical acoustic emission signals: For several typical defect types of acoustic emission sources, the characteristic parameters of acoustic emission signals were collected and statistically analyzed, and the distribution law of their acoustic emission characteristic parameters was analyzed and discussed. Keywords: acoustic emission; characteristic parameters; statistics; distribution law; analysis; discussion For most engineering application fields, characteristic parameters are often used to detect and characterize acoustic emission signals. This paper collects and statistically analyzes the simplified waveform characteristic parameters of the burst standard acoustic emission signal [1] (including: amplitude, energy, ring count, duration, rise time, root mean square voltage, peak count, frequency) of typical types of acoustic emission sources (AE), and conducts correlation analysis between characteristic parameters.
