           The dynamic simulation technology of power system adopts dynamic simulation device, that is, physical simulation system. Before the 1960s, power system simulation mainly adopted this kind of fully physical dynamic simulation device. The principle is to establish a physical model system by reducing the specifications of the prototype system by a certain proportion, and replace the test in the actual system by conducting experiments on the physical model. Its advantage is that it can more realistically reflect the full dynamic process of the system under study, the phenomenon is intuitive and clear, and the physical meaning is clear. The disadvantage is that the scale of simulation is limited by laboratory equipment and site, and each different type of test requires re-wiring of the electrical wiring, which is labor-intensive and time-consuming. In addition, the scalability and compatibility are poor.
