Power consumption has become a very important issue in integrated circuit design. For a given circuit, its power consumption is closely related to the input, that is, for different input vector sets, the same circuit may have different power consumption. Power consumption sensitivity defines the power consumption change characteristics caused by the change of the original input. This paper gives a power consumption sensitivity analysis method based on signal position probability and transition rate transmission characteristics, and elaborates on its application in dynamic power consumption estimation without delay and static power consumption estimation. Experimental results show that it greatly reduces the estimation time while ensuring good accuracy. In addition, this method can also be applied to dynamic power consumption estimation with delay, dynamic and static power consumption estimation on a specific vector set, and to a certain extent provides a reference for low-power design.
