Based on the measurement principle of eddy current sensor, this paper analyzes the influence of electrical loss on the measurement accuracy of eddy current sensor. Based on experimental research and theoretical analysis, this paper discusses the method to overcome the influence of electrical loss on the measurement results. Eddy current sensor is a common sensor that uses the eddy current mutual inductance effect between the energized coil and the target metal to measure displacement. The sensor has the advantages of non-contact measurement, high sensitivity, good frequency response characteristics, small structure size, strong environmental adaptability, and easy installation. Therefore, it is widely used in the measurement of physical quantities such as displacement, vibration, rotation speed, thickness, etc. in machinery, electricity, chemical industry, aerospace and other departments [1]. However, when eddy current sensor is used for measurement, its measurement accuracy and application range are greatly affected by the influence of electrical loss of target metal. Based on the measurement principle of eddy current sensor, this paper analyzes the influence of electrical loss on the measurement accuracy of eddy current sensor, finds out the cause of electrical loss, and obtains the method to overcome the influence of electrical loss through theoretical analysis and experimental research. This method is of great significance to the design and application of eddy current sensor.
