Design of some key circuits of UHF passive RFID tags

This article gives some key circuit design considerations for the design of UHF passive RFID tag chips. Starting from the basic structure of UHF RFID tags, the article first introduces four power recovery circuit structures and the solution of making Schottky diodes to form a voltage doubler circuit under standard CMOS process. Then, for the power supply voltage regulator circuit, two types of voltage regulator circuits, series and parallel, are proposed. For the ASK envelope demodulation circuit, the article proposes a new leakage current source design. Finally, the article introduces the design considerations of the start signal generation circuit.
