The wireless network system for traffic volume survey is a multi-point to single-point structure. According to the IEEE802.1 (a wireless LAN standard) protocol, it is divided into two parts: information sending and information receiving. The information sending part is also called the front end. It consists of a wireless bridge AP (access point), a video encoder, a camera and a pan/tilt. As shown in Figure 1, the analog video signal output by the camera is connected to the video input end of the video encoder through a video cable. The 485 interface of the video encoder is connected to the pan/tilt decoder through a 485 control line. By receiving and restoring the control information of the pan/tilt and camera sent by the control keyboard of the monitoring center or the video monitoring server, the pan/tilt and camera are driven to rotate, zoom, and perform a series of controls. The network interface of the video encoder is connected to the network switch through a network cable, and the wireless device is connected to the network switch through a network cable. The video streaming media output by the video encoder is modulated into a radio frequency signal and sent to the monitoring center for transmission.
