        This paper introduces the design of a portable CO and CO2 remote meter based on TDLAS technology. The working principle, system design and embedded hardware and software implementation of the remote meter are analyzed in detail. The ground is used as a reflector to obtain data, and the spectrum frequency modulation second harmonic detection technology is used to achieve high-speed and high-precision detection. Keywords: tunable laser diode, remote sensing, second harmonic detection
