This paper deeply studies the software and hardware interface of Nios custom instructions, implements a high-speed complex FFT algorithm with a transform length of 1024 points based on Altera\'s IP core FFT V2.2.0, and proposes a method to customize user FFT algorithm instructions in Nios embedded systems. The study shows that adding FFT algorithms to the Nios embedded processor instruction set can help the system complete complex data processing tasks and enhance the real-time processing capabilities of the Nios system.
