As the output characteristics of photovoltaic cells change when external conditions change, they also change accordingly. In order to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic systems, it is necessary to track their maximum power. In view of the characteristics of photovoltaic systems as nonlinear controlled objects and the existence of uncertain and unknown disturbances, a fuzzy PID control method in which a fuzzy controller adjusts the parameters of the PID controller in real time is used in photovoltaic systems to meet the rapid response of photovoltaic systems, effectively eliminate the oscillation of photovoltaic cell output power at the maximum power point, and reduce energy loss. Simulation results show that the controller can quickly and accurately track the maximum power point of photovoltaic cells, reduce steady-state oscillations, and improve the working efficiency of photovoltaic cells.
