In the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network, the service trigger mechanism of S-CSCF (Serving Call Session Control Function) that matches the filtering criteria one by one causes call signaling to be forwarded multiple times between S-CSCF and AS (Application Server), increasing the load pressure and call delay time of the S-CSCF entity. Based on the existing IMS service provision framework, this paper proposes a distributed SCIM (DSCIM) service trigger mechanism, which completes the continuous service triggering from AS to AS in the service process and avoids the round-trip forwarding of signaling between S-CSCF and AS. The service trigger mechanism is analyzed by mathematical model and simulation experiments based on Jackson queuing network theory. The results show that the DSCIM service trigger mechanism can effectively reduce the average call delay of the network and reduce the load pressure of S-CSCF.
