This paper introduces a design scheme of a boiler microcomputer control system, including control principle, system structure, hardware and software implementation, etc. The system can accurately control the steam production process, improve the operation and management level of the boiler, save energy, reduce environmental pollution, and has good practical prospects. Boilers are indispensable power equipment in industrial sectors such as power generation, oil refining, chemical industry, papermaking, and sugar making. Due to scattered equipment, poor management or technical reasons, most boilers are currently under manual control. Manual control not only increases the labor intensity of operators, but also the ratio of fuel consumption to steam production depends mainly on the technical level and work responsibility of operators, making it difficult to keep the boiler in a good working condition, increasing fuel consumption, reducing the thermal efficiency of the boiler, and increasing environmental pollution. Since computers have the advantages of memory, high-speed computing and convenient centralized control, and computer programs are flexible and can easily compose and modify control algorithms, microcomputers are used instead of manual control in boiler control.
