The diesel locomotive electric control system is a complex control system. For a long time, it has been using relay and contactor control systems to complete the control function. This paper analyzes the shortcomings and deficiencies of the current relay and contactor control systems on diesel locomotives, and proposes a control method that uses a programmable computer controller (PCC) as the control core to complete the control of the corresponding electrical appliances and functional modules of the locomotive. The corresponding detection and control circuits are designed for the locomotive stepless speed regulation module, and the corresponding module program is compiled. At present, the diesel locomotive electrical control system has been controlled by traditional relay control devices. In the control of the locomotive electrical system, the contact interlocking method is still used to form the logical relationship of the electrical coil being energized. With the development of industrial modernization and the needs of railway transportation, the requirements for locomotive operation and locomotive quality are constantly increasing, which puts higher requirements on the reliability of the locomotive control system. The original relay control system cannot meet the new requirements. Through in-depth research on the locomotive electrical control system and circuit, the task of this paper is to use a programmable computer controller (PCC) as the control core to control the locomotive stepless speed regulation, so as to realize the automation and intelligence of the corresponding control links, reduce the number of contact electrical appliances on the locomotive, and increase the safety of locomotive operation.
