SHT31 Review + Unboxing [Copy link]

It has been a while since I received the SHT31 Smart Gadget, but due to lack of time, I did not start the review until today.

The courier box I received was quite large, but it became very small after I unpacked it.

After opening it, it contains a motherboard, a small support board, and an instruction manual.

The entire board layout is neat and concise.

In the upper left corner is the SHT31 sensor. In the lower left corner is a button used to turn Bluetooth on and off and to switch the humidity and dew point display on the display.

In the middle is an LCD display screen, which is used to display temperature, humidity, and dew point (the temperature at which the water vapor content in the air reaches saturation. Below this temperature, water vapor precipitates from the air and condenses into water droplets).

Below the LCD display is an NXP/Freescale 8-bit microcontroller MC9S08LL8CGT, which is used to realize the display function of the LCD display.

In the upper right corner is a module with a shield, which contains the nrf51822 chip. The nrf51822 on this board is mainly used to collect data from SHT31 and send the data to MC9S08LL8CGT for display. At the same time, nrf51822 also integrates BLE to interact with mobile phone APP.

In the lower right corner is a CR2302 3V button battery, which is used to power the entire board.

On the back of the board are two MCU debugging interfaces and the I2C interface connected to SHT31. After soldering the card array or the socket, it can be debugged very conveniently.

Next, I put in the batteries and the board started working. It sits on a cute stand and has a great viewing angle on a table.

The previous picture was not labeled enough, so I added annotations and uploaded a new one.
