Radio frequency identification technology is an emerging automatic identification technology since the 1980s. It uses wireless radio frequency to carry out non-contact two-way data communication. Compared with the commonly used 13.56MHz radio frequency identification system, the 868MHz radio frequency identification system in this design has more advantages: long reading and writing distance, fast reading speed, etc. It is currently a hot spot in the development of RFID products in the world. The content of this research project includes the main characteristics, structure, working principle and reading and writing methods of ultra-high frequency RFID electronic tags that meet the ISO18000-6 standard. The focus is on the design of the corresponding card reader, including the hardware circuit design of the card reader, the software program flow and the realization of communication with the host computer. In the hardware design, the AVR microcontroller ATmega8 of ATMEL was selected as the main controller, and the main control, reset, serial communication and other circuits were designed. The radio frequency transceiver module was designed with the TRC101 developed by RFM as the radio frequency transceiver chip. The software design adopts the ideas of modular programming and structured programming. The programming language of the microcontroller is assembly language, and the serial communication with the host computer is programmed using Visual Basic. After testing, the bit error rate is low, and the anti-collision program has realized the anti-collision function based on the random binary algorithm. This design has the characteristics of high reliability and modular design. Through verification, it meets the standard requirements, achieves the expected purpose, and proves the stability and reliability of the performance of this design.
