In order to solve the problem that the muzzle flame is unstable and difficult to accurately capture its signal in the range test and testing, the infrared spectrum characteristics of the muzzle flame are analyzed, and an infrared muzzle signal detection system is designed with the PbS detector as the core. The parabolic focusing method is used to increase the infrared target detection capability of the system; the corresponding signal processing circuit and temperature control circuit are designed. Through simulation and live-fire test at the range, it is shown that the designed system has a strong detection capability for the muzzle flame, which basically meets the needs of the range test trigger.
