A data acquisition card for testing construction materials is implemented with a low-cost and high-performance design idea. The system is based on the PCI data bus, 8 analog inputs, and is configured with different magnification factors. It has the characteristics of compact structure, high reliability and high stability, and has been widely used in production practice. Keywords: PCI bus, data acquisition, magnification factor. In production, life, scientific research and development, data statistics are an indispensable research and testing method, and the data acquisition card is a device that obtains data from various sensors and summarizes it. There are many interface methods between the current data acquisition card and the computer, including USB interface, PCI interface, ISA interface, PCMCIA interface, and various other bus interface types. The data types that can be collected by the acquisition card include digital quantity, analog quantity and switch quantity. Strictly speaking, switch quantity is also a kind of digital quantity, but due to the use of occasions, it is divided separately. The standards for measuring the performance of data acquisition cards mainly include various parameters such as accuracy (number of bits), speed, reliability and stability. Among them, accuracy depends on the number of bits of AD (analog-to-digital) conversion, while speed depends on the speed of AD conversion and the speed of transmission. Reliability and stability are affected by factors such as anti-electromagnetic interference and driver style. Taking into account various factors such as cost and practicality, we chose to transmit data via PCI. The AD conversion chip used was AD574AJN from AD Company, and the PCI controller used the cost-effective PCI9052 bridge chip from PLX Company, which minimized the cost while achieving the required functions.
