Research on the starting and shifting quality of AMT: This paper conducts the following research on the problems existing in the starting and shifting process of AMT: (1) The engine no-load and load models are established, and the torque transmission characteristics of the MF210 diaphragm spring clutch used in the Santana2000 vehicle are determined. (2) A fuzzy controller for the engagement speed during the starting process is established. The input parameters of the fuzzy controller include: throttle opening, the rate of change of throttle opening, and the speed difference between the clutch master and slave plates. The sliding friction work and impact degree during the starting process are simulated and analyzed. (3) Based on a comprehensive dynamic analysis of the shifting process, the time used for each shifting link in the shifting process is specifically analyzed, and specific measures are proposed to minimize the shifting time. (4) A fuzzy controller for the engagement speed of the clutch engagement stage in the shifting process is designed. The fuzzy controller takes the impact degree and the speed difference between the clutch master and slave plates as inputs, and the sliding friction work and impact degree during the shifting process are simulated and analyzed. (5) Based on reducing the slip time and slip work, assuming that the impact degree when the clutch engages is always the maximum allowable impact degree, the concept of maximum engagement speed is proposed, and by correcting the maximum engagement speed to control the clutch engagement speed, a new method for controlling the clutch engagement speed is obtained.
