This paper studies the model management system, which is a part of model management system in a simulator-supported platform. The development of training simulator is a complex system engineering. A large amount of product data will be generated during the development process. This paper connects these large amounts of heterogeneous data through an ontology-based conceptual model, and establishes the relationship between model documents by calculating the semantic distance between conceptual models, so as to provide support for model change management. Keywords conceptual model ontology training simulator Abstract Purpose of this paper is to resolve model documents changes management, which is a part of model management system in a simulator-supported platform. It is a complex procedure to develop training simulators, which amount of structured and non-structured data will be product. To manage these data as well as the procedure, it is needed to describe by using of conceptual model based xml/ontology metadata.
