In view of the shortcomings of BP neural network, such as slow convergence speed and easy to fall into local minima, a genetic algorithm with global search capability is used to optimize the weights and thresholds of BP neural network, and fault diagnosis is realized by genetic optimization of BP network. The algorithm is implemented based on MATLAB, and simulation experiments show that the algorithm has obvious advantages, can avoid the shortcomings of BP algorithm, greatly improve the learning performance of the network, and has certain practicality.
