With the rapid development of economy and the improvement of people\'s pace of life, people have less and less time to take care of their families. People are increasingly feeling the pressure of time. They not only have to deal with complicated work, but also have to take care of their own families. Although the existing embedded hard disk recorders are rich in functions and the products are becoming more and more mature, the application cost in home systems is too high. Therefore, this paper designs a high-performance, low-cost real-time image monitoring system that allows people to understand the safety of their homes in real time after busy work. This paper first proposes the overall design of the image monitoring system and discusses the design of the system hardware platform in detail. The hardware part mainly includes the main control chip $3C2410 and Flash, SDRAM memory interface circuit, USB interface circuit, Ethernet interface circuit, UART serial interface circuit, JTAG interface circuit and power supply circuit. Secondly, this paper studies the key technologies of embedded IAnux transplantation, including the establishment of cross-compilation environment, Bootloader design, kernel transplantation and file system loading methods, and transplants the standard Linux 2.4.18 to the target platform by cutting the Linux kernel. At the same time, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing file system are analyzed, and the fast and efficient YAFFS file system is transplanted on the target platform to enhance the robustness and efficiency of the system. Furthermore, this paper modified and transplanted the driver of the LJSB camera. The data structure and principle of image acquisition based on Vide041inux technology were studied, the process and key steps of image acquisition were elaborated in detail, the image acquisition program was designed using Vide04Linux API functions, the fast image acquisition was realized by using memory mapping, and the image data was compressed by JPEG to improve the efficiency of image acquisition. Web Server and Java Applet technology were studied to realize remote image monitoring. The function of the network camera was realized by recompiling and transplanting the Webcam Server application. Finally, this paper gives the system test method and operation results, summarizes the work done and the existing problems, and puts forward suggestions for system improvement. The image monitoring system designed in this paper has the characteristics of high performance, low cost, and small size. It uses open source Linux as the software platform to ensure the stability and security of the system, and has high cost performance and strong applicability.
