How to use the peripheral coprocessor XGATE on the S12X MCU XGATE is a 16-bit reduced instruction set core (see Figure 1-1 XGATE programming mode). The core has 8 16-bit general registers R0~R7, 1 program counter PC, and a 4-bit conditional code register CCR. R0 is always 0 and can be used to quickly clear or set variables.
