Abstract: Based on the analysis of the existing problems in control, maintenance and technical management, the ICMMS concept of organically integrating the three into a unified intelligent system is discussed; the architecture of ICMMS is introduced; the intelligent features, integration features, and distribution and open features of ICMMS are analyzed; finally, the concept and design method of ICMMS are applied to production practice. The practical operation results prove the feasibility of this concept and method, showing its potential superiority and huge economic benefits. Since the 1980s, the computer control of domestic industrial enterprises, such as power plants and power systems, has developed rapidly and achieved great results. However, there are currently the following problems: (1) The development of control, maintenance and management is extremely unbalanced, among which the maintenance field is relatively backward. (2) The three fields of control, maintenance and management are independent of each other and are managed and implemented by different departments or systems, which often results in duplication of functions and low utilization of resources. (3) The system is not intelligent and open, so the system is not flexible and has a short service life. The systems developed by different manufacturers lack compatibility and interchangeability, making it difficult for users to update their systems and causing huge waste.
