Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is based on microprocessor, combined with computer technology, automatic control technology and its characteristics of being process-oriented and user-oriented. In recent years, many domestic textile mills have applied PLC to the electrical control of shuttleless looms, rationally combining and configuring human-machine interface, encoder, yarn break detection device, multi-arm machine, electromagnetic clutch and PLC, and constructing PLC control system to control the movement of looms. The application of PLC technology has played a vital role in improving the quality of loom fabrics, expanding fabric varieties, improving loom efficiency, simplifying operations, and reducing labor intensity.
