Aiming at the problem that the algorithm for detecting QRS wave of ECG signal based on wavelet transform has large computational complexity and is difficult to implement in hardware, an FPGA implementation scheme is proposed. Firstly, the algorithm for detecting QRS wave group using wavelet transform is analyzed, and a hardware implementation scheme is given. The algorithm is implemented by two modules: wavelet transform module and detection module. Then, a high-end FPGA is selected as the hardware processing platform, and the specific implementation structure of wavelet transform module and waveform detection module is given. Finally, the hardware implementation of ECG signal detection algorithm is completed by compiling and simulating under QuartusⅡ. From the comprehensive resource occupancy rate, it can be seen that the system makes full use of the rich resources inside FPGA, and from the simulation results, it can be seen that the QRS wave is accurately detected on the FPGA system. Abstract: A FPGA design and implementation scheme is proposed according to the problems of the ECG QRS wave detection algorithm based on wavelet transform\'s large computation and it\'s hardware is not easy to achieve. Firstly, through analysis of QRS wave detection based on wavelet transform algorithm, a sheme for hardware implementation is put forward. This algorithm is achieved by wavelet transform module and detection module. Then, high performance FPGA is selected as hardware processing platform and architecture of the wavelet transform module and detection module are proposed. Finally, the compilation and simulation were made under QuartusⅡ, and the hardward implementation of the detection algorithm of ECG is achieved. The rate of resource occupancy shows that the resourceful propertyiy in FPGA is greatly utilitzed by the scheme and the results of simulation show that QRS wave is detected accurately in FPGA system.
