Data transmission and interconnection technology of synthetic aperture radar imaging processor

Data transmission and interconnection technology is one of the key technologies in the design of Synthesis Aperture Radar (SAR) real-time imaging processing system. This paper divides the current data transmission and interconnection technology into four categories: network-based, bus-based, cross-switch-based and special technology, analyzes the performance, and discusses the future development direction of interconnection technology. On this basis, combined with the needs of SAR signal processing, a general serial packet switching data transmission technology based on data frame structure is proposed, the physical layer and link layer are designed, and the field programmable gate array (FPGA) is used to complete the implementation and testing of this technology. According to different SAR system topologies, the data transmission performance indicators are analyzed. The results show that this technology can complete high-speed data transmission and interconnection between modules of the SAR system.
