Offset Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (OQPSK) modulation technology is a constant envelope modulation technology with the characteristics of high spectrum utilization and good spectrum characteristics. It is widely used in satellite communication and mobile communication. Based on the full digitization of OQPSK demodulator in a certain type of detection and reception equipment, this paper designs and implements a full digital OQPSK modem based on FPGA, in which the modulator is mainly used to simulate unknown signals as a test signal source. The paper studies the basic algorithms of full digital OQPSK modulation and demodulation, including shaping filter, NCO model, carrier recovery, timing recovery, etc.; and completes the MATLAB simulation of the entire modulation and demodulation algorithm. On this basis, VHDL hardware description language is used to design and implement each algorithm module in the ISE7.1 development environment of Xilinx Company, and it is implemented on the hardware platform. Through actual field tests, the correct demodulation of the detected signal is achieved. The paper also implements the 100M Ethernet interface of the demodulator, so that the system can easily send the demodulated data to the computer for subsequent processing.
