This paper studies the DSP implementation of speech recognition technology in household appliances. The article introduces the basic concepts of speech recognition technology, discusses the composition and implementation technology of the speech recognition system; and analyzes in detail the four components that constitute the speech recognition system, including speech signal digitization and preprocessing, speech endpoint detection, feature extraction and pattern matching. It focuses on the short-time average energy and short-time average zero-crossing rate analysis for endpoint detection, the linear prediction analysis of speech signals and the cepstrum feature parameters based on this, as well as the commonly used vector quantization technology, dynamic time warping technology and hidden Markov model for pattern matching; based on the composition of the proposed speech recognition system, it introduces the simulation analysis of the recognition system using the dynamic time warping algorithm implemented on MATLAB6.5.
