This paper focuses on the use of Doherty\'s feedforward power amplifier in the final amplifier tube to improve the efficiency of base stations. The feedforward power amplifier is a power amplification scheme that corrects the signal when the power is output. It is mainly composed of a main circuit and an auxiliary circuit. The signal of the auxiliary circuit is delayed at the signal input port. After the signal coupled from the coupler is amplified by the power amplifier tube of the main circuit, a part of the signal is coupled through the coupler, and then the phase and delay are adjusted through the adjustment circuit. Then, the signal amplified and output by the main circuit and the delayed signal of the auxiliary circuit are canceled. The technical advantage of the feedforward amplifier is that it ensures that the third-order intermodulation result of the output signal is better than other methods, and the efficiency of the power amplifier is also improved.
