A new type of space-time joint despreading and respreading smart antenna: Recent studies have shown that the use of smart antennas can eliminate multi-user interference and multipath interference, thereby improving the performance of mobile communication systems, which is reflected in increasing system capacity, improving spectrum utilization, improving anti-interference ability, and providing diversity gain [1][2]. The control algorithm of smart antennas can usually adopt the least mean square algorithm, LMS [3] recursive least squares algorithm RLS [3] constant modulus algorithm CMA [4] Capon algorithm, etc. [5] For the reference signal required in the code division multiple access CDMA system algorithm, the method of despreading and then respreading the spread spectrum signal can be used to generate the despreading and respreading smart antenna [6]. In a multipath transmission environment, the number of interference paths increases, and traditional antenna arrays use the method of forcing zero to eliminate multipath signals. On the one hand, this is limited by the number of antenna elements, that is, the controllable freedom of the antenna. On the other hand, multipath interference in the same direction cannot pass through the antenna, and the array cannot overcome and utilize the multipath diversity gain. This paper proposes a despreading and respreading smart antenna with an equalizer using a joint time-space processing method. This antenna introduces a reference signal equalizer and a time domain equalizer on the basis of the despreading and respreading smart antenna, so that the antenna array is only used to eliminate multiple access interference, and multipath interference is eliminated by the time domain equalizer connected to the array output. Simulation results show that this method can effectively improve the performance of the despreading and respreading smart antenna.
