Using LabVIEW, a virtual instrument programming language with intuitive graphical programming and powerful digital signal processing functions, as the development platform, a virtual ECG data acquisition and recording system was developed. The system has the functions of real-time display of ECG waveform, heart rate display and alarm, waveform storage and playback, etc. Keywords: ECG data acquisition LabVIEW virtual instrument ECG signal is the representation of human bioelectric activity information, and the health status of the human body can be judged by ECG signal. ECG research has always been an important topic in the medical field, and ECG is an important method for clinical examination and diagnosis of cardiovascular and other diseases. The traditional ECG recording method is mainly completed by ECG machine, and its signal acquisition, processing and display are mainly completed by hardware circuit. The circuit production technology requires high requirements, the equipment price is relatively expensive, and maintenance and updating are inconvenient. The development of virtual instrument technology provides good technical support for the transformation of traditional ECG recording equipment. It uses the powerful software processing function of the computer and the rich hardware resources to form a plug-in virtual instrument system, and uses rich software systems to realize the functions usually completed by hardware. LabVIEW is a graphical virtual instrument development software developed by NI Corporation of the United States. It has the characteristics of simple programming and intuitive results. We used LabVIEW, a self-made multi-channel ECG amplifier and a PCI6023 data acquisition card to form a virtual instrument system, and developed an intelligent ECG acquisition, recording and analysis system with a user-friendly interface, so that ECG data processing, display, storage, playback and analysis are all completed by computer, overcoming the individual differences in ECG analysis among clinicians, and also facilitating the construction of a remote monitoring and diagnosis system.
