Abstract: In order to realize the information management of water supply network, a design method of remote monitoring system of water supply network based on embedded technology and GPRS technology is proposed. The system functions are analyzed and the overall design scheme of the system is given. The design of data acquisition terminal software using uCOS-Ⅱ real-time operating system is introduced in detail, the communication protocol for wireless data transmission using GPRS network and winsock network programming technology is given, and the database management system is designed using ADO database access technology. The experimental results show that the system realizes the functions of real-time acquisition, processing, wireless transmission and remote monitoring of water supply network parameters on the GPRS business platform.
