Linux is very popular for its completely open features and stable and excellent performance. After the kernel input subsystem was introduced, it is more convenient to open drivers in the embedded field. This paper introduces the basics of Linux device drivers and elaborates on the implementation process and architecture of device drivers based on the Linux kernel input subsystem. Taking the touch screen as an example, the driver process is analyzed and studied. Using the interface functions of the input subsystem, it will be more convenient to implement device drivers.
