        This paper theoretically analyzes the physical mechanism of spectral sideband asymmetry in ring cavity mode-locked fiber lasers. In the experiment, a ring cavity passively mode-locked fiber laser platform was built, and by adjusting the polarization controller, a significantly asymmetric sideband spectrum was obtained in the L-band.
